Plan snapshot
8 tokens per week across Scout, Forecast, and Craft. Home daily moves, Profile, Truth Ledger, and the job feed included. No Chat. No credit card required.
150 tokens per month across Scout, Forecast, and Craft. Full Chat access. Deeper Forecast reads and the full execution platform for active use.
Dilly formerly offered a third tier called Pro. That plan was retired. Existing Pro subscribers were moved to Dilly. This article covers the current two-tier model only.
What a token is
A token is spent when Dilly runs Scout, Forecast, or Craft. Scout writes a fit read against a job. Forecast reads the user's field and the AI shift around it. Craft tailors a resume for a specific role. Home daily moves are separate: they are the ~3-minute execution workbench and do not draw from the token pool.
What Starter is for
Starter is the try-the-platform tier. Users can build a Profile, browse the job feed, run Home moves, and spend up to 8 tokens a week on Scout, Forecast, or Craft. The weekly reset lets users feel the system in short bursts before stepping into monthly execution.
What Dilly is for
Dilly is the paid tier for verified students at $8.99 per month, or $12.99 standard without a .edu rate. It includes 150 tokens per month, Chat, and enough room for high-volume applications, repeated tailoring, and ongoing AI-supported decisions.
Chat comes with Dilly
Chat is included on the Dilly plan. Starter users still get Home, Profile, Scout, Forecast, Craft (within token limits), and the job feed, but not the conversational layer. Upgrading to Dilly unlocks Chat.
Parent-sponsored checkout
Students can share a checkout link so a parent or guardian pays for Dilly on their behalf. The subscription still ties to the student's account email. See student pricing and verification and billing for how checkout and renewal work.
Plan is separate from mode
Student, Seeker, and Holder are app modes. Starter and Dilly are plan tiers. A Seeker user is not automatically on Dilly. A Student user can be on either Starter or Dilly. Mode shapes Home priorities and language; plan shapes tokens and Chat.
How Dilly knows the plan
The app reads plan and subscription status from the user's profile. Depending on the account, status may appear as active, past_due, canceled, unpaid, or empty. After checkout, the app polls the profile for about a minute so the upgraded state can land quickly.
.edu signup and pricing
Dilly requires a verified .edu email to sign up. The .edu rate ($8.99) applies when the account email is recognized as a student address. Standard pricing ($12.99) applies when the student rate is not available. Promo codes in Settings are validated by the backend.
Common confusion
Why is Chat unavailable on Starter?
Chat requires the Dilly plan. Starter does not include it. Upgrade to Dilly to unlock Chat.
What counts against the token allowance?
Each Scout read, each Forecast generation, and each Craft resume counts as one token. On Starter, the allowance resets every Monday. On Dilly, the allowance resets on the same day each month.
Do Home moves use tokens?
No. Home daily moves are the execution workbench and are available on every plan. Tokens are spent in Scout, Forecast, and Craft.
Why does the account still look like Starter right after checkout?
The app polls the profile after payment. If it has only been a moment, refresh and give it a few seconds.
