What happens during sign-in

  1. Enter your email.
  2. Dilly sends a verification code.
  3. Type the 6 digits.
  4. The app auto-submits on the sixth digit.
  5. Your auth token is stored on-device so you stay signed in.

Why the resend button is delayed

Dilly uses a 60-second resend cooldown. During that wait, the app shows reassurance messages at 30 seconds and 60 seconds so it does not feel like the flow silently stalled.

Use the newest code.

If you request more than one code, older ones may stop working. The safest move is to use the most recently delivered email.

Other sign-in options

The app can also offer Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google. If those paths are available to you, they still land you in the same core account system once setup is complete.

If the code never arrives

  • confirm you typed the right email address
  • wait the full cooldown instead of hammering resend
  • check spam, promotions, and filtered inbox views
  • request a fresh code after the timer clears
  • make sure the phone has a stable internet connection

Common issues

I entered six digits and nothing happened

Usually that points to a connection hiccup or an expired code. Request a fresh one and try again.

I got multiple emails

Use the newest code. Older ones may no longer be valid.

I still cannot get in

If repeated retries fail, contact support with the email address you are using and say whether the issue is no email, expired code, or a code that submits but does not complete sign-in.
