Where to upload
Open Profile and tap Import resume. Upload is also available during onboarding when prompted to seed Profile.
Supported files
PDF only. Export from the original document (Word, Google Docs, etc.) as PDF before uploading. Scanned image PDFs are pictures of text, not selectable text, and may fail to parse. Plain text can be pasted into Profile sections instead.
What gets pulled in
- name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn
- education entries with school, degree, field, dates
- work experiences with company, title, dates, bullets
- projects, skills, and certifications when present
What does not auto-import
Custom sections, hobbies, references, and visual columns sometimes do not survive the parse. Open the relevant section in Profile and add anything missing.
If extraction looks wrong
Open the section, tap the affected entry, and edit it directly. Profile is the source of truth, not the original PDF. Scout, Forecast, Craft, Home moves, and the Truth Ledger all read from Profile.
