Calendar integration

The app can subscribe you to a Dilly Calendar. That calendar is meant to surface deadlines, interviews, offers, and other career events inside Apple's Calendar app so you do not have to keep checking Dilly to remember what is coming.

Reminders integration

Dilly can also sync reminders into a dedicated "Dilly" list inside iOS Reminders. Permission is requested the first time you enable the toggle.

Weekly brief reminders

Inside Settings, you can also set up a recurring weekly brief reminder. This is useful if you want Dilly to nudge you into a regular review rhythm instead of only reacting when something urgent appears.

What to expect

Calendar

Good for fixed events like interviews, deadlines, and offer timing.

Reminders

Better for tasks and nudges that you want to check off.

Background fetch

Dilly also warms some event and deadline cache in the background so this surface stays current.

Common confusion

I subscribed to calendar but expected reminders

Calendar and Reminders are separate integrations. One does not automatically create the behavior of the other.

I toggled reminders and nothing happened

The most common reason is iOS permission denial. Re-check permissions if the app cannot create the Dilly list.

Can I remove the calendar later?

Yes. The app includes unsubscribe behavior if you are already subscribed.
