When I read a resume against a job, I'm checking four things. Each one gets a qualitative grade and a one-line note so you know exactly what to change.
Keyword match
How well your bullets and skills overlap with the JD's required terms. Lower if the JD has rare terms you don't have. Raise it by adding real proof, not by stuffing keywords.
Format
One-page or two-page legibility, font sanity, section ordering, contact line completeness. Small penalties, but real.
Density
Whether bullets carry outcomes or read like task lists. Outcomes raise this. Filler lowers it.
Verb strength
Strong action verbs at the start of bullets. Weak openers like "Responsible for" pull this down.
