It's a fair assumption. Most career tools that come out of a CS background end up being a CS-job-finder with a nicer skin. Dilly isn't that. The field list spans tech, finance, healthcare, marketing, design, ops, policy, education, sales, product, and more. Each one was curated by hand, not scraped.
That curation matters because the Scout read changes by field. The skills that matter for an investment banking analyst look nothing like the ones that matter for a product designer, which look nothing like the ones for a nurse practitioner. Forecast adapts to where each field is heading, not a generic "career trends" feed.
I'm adding more fields as we hit retention milestones. If yours isn't covered yet, email me, and I'll tell you when it's queued.
